De ladder Jakobs?
Sommigen denken dat met deze ladder Gods voorzienigheid bedoeld wordt, waardoor Hij alle dingen in de hemel en op aarde bestuurt, en in het bijzonder zorg draagt voor Zijn gelovigen, om hen op hun wegen met Zijn vaderlijk oog te geleiden, door de dienst van Zijn heilige engelen. Daarom (zeggen zij) staat God op deze ladder en klimmen op Diens bevel de engelen op en neer.
De hemel op aarde. Bijzondere wegen naar boven. En muziek.
